“20th Century Girl” follows the first love and friendships of a 17-year-old high school student Bo-Ra (Kim You-Jung). She’s an athlete with a positive personality and also a member of the broadcasting club at her school.

Yeon-Doo(Roh Yoon Seo) is best friends with Bo-Ra and attends same school with her.Yeon-Doo with a heart problem has to travel to the U.S for a heart surgery.

But has a crush on Baek Hyun-jin(Park Jung-Woo) a boy from the same school. She ask Bo-Ra to keep a watch on Hyun-jin to find out everything about him.

After that, Bo-Ra begins to observe Hyun-jin by getting close to his best friend Woon-Ho(Byeon Woo-Seok) and also a member of the same broadcasting club.During this time, Bo-Ra become close to Woon-Ho and also Hyun-jin. But then she finds her first love a sweet, pure but heartbreaking relationship.
