Kim Jae Won and Chung Su Bin have officially been confirmed for the upcoming romance film My First Graduation.

On April 8, ACEMAKER announced the casting of Kim Jae Won and Chung Su Bin and revealed that filming has already started. Alongside the news, the company also released script reading photos featuring Kim Jae Won, Chung Su Bin, Park Ho San, and Lee Joo Young.

My First Graduation is described as a youth romance set in a seaside town. The story follows high school student Chae Do Young, played by Chung Su Bin, whose life takes a dark turn when she crosses paths with Gu Do Ha, a mysterious transfer student portrayed by Kim Jae Won.

Kim Jae Won, who recently drew attention for his work in The Art of Sarah and is also preparing for the release of Yumi’s Cells 3, shared his excitement about the project. He said he was immediately drawn to the story and its unique setting and characters, adding that he feels happy to be part of such a distinctive film.

Chung Su Bin will play Chae Do Young, a student who seems cheerful and awkward on the outside but carries deep emotional complexity within. Speaking about the role, she shared that she was instantly captivated by the script and eager to discover how the story would unfold. She also expressed her commitment to bringing the film’s emotional depth and excitement to life.

The cast also includes Park Ho San, known for Omniscient Reader: The Prophecy and My Mister, who will play Do Young’s father, Man Soo. Heo Joon Seok, recognized for Extreme Job and Melo Is My Nature, has been cast as Do Ha’s father, Joon Gi. Lee Joo Young, known for The 8 Show and Genie, Make a Wish, will appear as Do Young’s closest friend and soulmate, Soo Ah.
The film will be directed by Kim Jin Hwa, known for Missing Yoon, and officially began filming on April 8. More updates are expected soon.
