Yoon Gyeo-Rye’s (Ji Chang-Wook) is a young ex-convict with a troubled past who struggled throughout his life, volunteers at a hospice hospital on the order of community service by the Court.

He joins Team Genie, a group which fulfills the last wishes of hospice patients, and learns to care for others for the first time.

He, with Team Genie Kang Tae Sik (Sung Dong Il), a middle-aged man who leads the volunteer team at the facility, listens to and carries out the last wishes of people at the end of their lives through various episodes.

There he also meets Seo Yeon Ju (Choi Sooyoung), a young nurse who refuses to give up on her patients and tries to keep them physically active at all times.
